In Loving Memory of David M. Clayton

SENECA COUNTY, Ohio — A tragic motorcycle crash has left the Bucyrus community mourning the loss of David M. Clayton, 43, who lost his life Sunday evening in Eden Township.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Norwalk Post, the crash occurred around 7:21 p.m. on State Route 100 near State Route 67. Authorities said David was traveling southbound on his 2014 Harley-Davidson Street Glide when he failed to negotiate a curve. The motorcycle left the roadway, struck a ditch, and overturned.

David was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers noted that he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The incident remains under investigation as officials continue to review the circumstances surrounding the fatal wreck.

The sudden loss of David Clayton has left family, friends, and his community grieving a life taken far too soon. Those who knew him are now left with cherished memories and an overwhelming sense of sorrow as they come to terms with his passing.

Assisting agencies, including the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, Bloom Township Fire and EMS, Keller Brothers Towing, and the Seneca County Coroner’s Office, responded to the scene.
