A Prayer for Ķeyy Lastpage Holding on to hope in a moment of pain
In the heart of downtown Minneapolis, near the busy stretch of Nicollet Mall, a tragic act of violence has left Ķeyy Lastpage fighting for their life. What should have been an ordinary evening around 7th and Nicollet, outside Walgreens, became a scene of fear and heartbreak after a shooting at approximately 18:00.
Now, as Ķeyy remains in critical condition after suffering a gunshot wound to the head, hearts across the community are heavy — but also united in prayer, hope, and faith.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up Ķeyy Lastpage into Your loving hands. In this moment of pain and uncertainty, we ask for Your divine mercy and healing power to surround them.
Lord, You are the ultimate healer. Touch Ķeyy’s body right now — restore every damaged part, calm every fear, and breathe life where there is weakness. Guide the hands of the doctors, nurses, and all medical staff caring for them. Grant them wisdom, precision, and strength as they fight to save a life that means so much to so many.
We pray for a miracle, Lord.
Where there is trauma, bring recovery.
Where there is fear, bring peace.
Where there is doubt, bring hope.
Father, we also lift up Ķeyy’s family and loved ones. In this unimaginable moment, wrap them in Your comfort. Ease their anxiety, strengthen their hearts, and remind them that they are not alone. Give them the courage to hold on, even when the situation feels overwhelming.
We pray against violence, against pain, against loss. Let this not be the end of Ķeyy’s story. Let this be a testimony of survival, of resilience, of Your grace.
May Your presence fill that hospital room.
May Your peace overcome every fear.
May Your healing power move in ways only You can.
