TIFFIN, Ohio — A devastating single-vehicle crash has claimed the lives of four young adults identified as Hermoiney Greenler, 19, of Bucyrus; Madison Yates, 21, of Tiffin; Jonathan Bowling, 22, of Tiffin; and Alexzandria Hickle, 22, of Tiffin, after their pickup truck left the roadway, struck a tree, and became partially submerged in a pond.

The crash occurred at approximately 10:40 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, along State Route 18 near County Road 48, just west of Tiffin in Seneca County. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the vehicle was traveling eastbound when the driver, Hermoiney Greenler, failed to maintain control.

Troopers say the pickup truck veered off the roadway, violently struck a tree, and then came to rest partially submerged in a nearby pond. The impact of the crash proved catastrophic. Greenler, along with passengers Madison Yates and Jonathan Bowling, suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced deceased at the scene.

A fourth passenger, Alexzandria Hickle, was transported by ground ambulance to Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital in critical condition. Despite medical efforts to save her life, she later succumbed to her injuries.

Authorities reported that Hickle was the only occupant wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, highlighting the tragic and unpredictable nature of such severe collisions.

This heartbreaking incident has sent shockwaves through the Tiffin and Bucyrus communities, as four young lives were lost in a single moment. Family members, friends, and loved ones are left grieving an unimaginable loss.
