While the exact cause of his passing has not yet been disclosed, his body has been entrusted to the coroner and transported to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s crime lab for further examination. Jacorey Pearson’s journey was not without hardship. Arrested in 2020 on charges including possession of methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, he had been serving his sentence with a projected release date of September 2, 2028.
