Teen Dies Following Shooting on Gatsby Drive in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY — The Montgomery community is reeling after the tragic loss of 18-year-old Vincent Grider, who was fatally shot on Monday evening in the 200 block of Gatsby Drive. The incident, which also left a juvenile male injured.

According to the Montgomery Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 6:32 p.m. on April 6, 2026, following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers discovered two male victims suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. Both were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care.
