A family is sharing a devastating and emotional update regarding Brynleigh Pledger, describing a moment filled with unimaginable grief, love, and faith as they prepare to say goodbye.
In a heartfelt statement, the family revealed that their “baby girl” will soon be joining her “mommy, brother, and twin sister Bryleigh on those beautiful streets of gold,” explaining that her condition has reached a point where recovery is no longer possible.
They shared that Brynleigh has “fought so incredibly hard,” but the damage to her brain has become unsurvivable, and at this stage, “the machines are literally doing everything.” The family expressed that there is no longer a way to keep her in this condition, even as their hearts struggle with the painful reality.
The message described an “indescribable pain,” while also finding comfort in their faith and the belief that Brynleigh and her twin sister Bryleigh Grace, who were inseparable in life, will be reunited again. “I know Bryleigh is impatiently waiting on her other half,” the family wrote, imagining a reunion filled with love beyond this world.
Despite their grief, the family also shared a powerful act of compassion—confirming plans to donate Brynleigh’s organs so that others in need may have a chance at life. They said they cannot change the tragedy they are facing, but hope her legacy can bring light and healing to other families.

They also asked for prayers for their son Bentley, who is recovering from a concussion and struggling with memory loss, causing him to relive the situation repeatedly. In addition, they asked for prayers for their extended family and their four other children, who are also grieving the loss of their sisters.
